Welcome to Read Maths

Every child should be able to make progress in Maths provided that they get the right support to enable them to become confident learners. There are many different reasons why children may struggle with Maths ranging from misunderstanding key concepts during early numerical development to Specific Learning Difficulties such as Dyscalculia.

Here at Read Maths we work to understand why a learner is having difficulties: offering Specialist Teacher Assessment and tuition for learners with additional needs such as SpLD Dyscalculia or undertaking individual tuition for those who just need some additional 1 to 1 support to gain more confidence in their skills. We work hard to understand the learners individual needs and to identify any gaps in knowledge or misconceptions. We create a structured individual teaching plan using multi-sensory teaching methods and most importantly aim to make Maths fun.
